Ocean + Science + Exploration = "CHANGING SEAS"
Changing Seas is a public television series produced by WPBT2/South Florida PBS in Miami, Florida. The series takes viewers on an exciting adventure to the heart of our liquid planet.
The oceans cover roughly 70 percent of the earth's surface and they contain 97 percent of the world's water supply. Nevertheless, only five percent of their vast expanse has been explored 00 leaving in secret a deep, liquid wilderness yet to be discovered.
Changing Seas goes to sea with explorers and scientists as they uncover new information that could lead to scientific breakthroughs. This documentary series lets viewers experience first-hand how oceanographers and other experts study earth's last frontier, and it sheds light on how human activities are threatening ocean resources.
Narrated by Peter Thomas (Seasons 1 - 6) and Craig Sechler (Seasons 7 - Present.)

This wreck is responsible for my love of diving. Unfortunately she’s lost her radar dishes due to hurricanes.
None of that addresses what may be in the water that caused the behavior in the first place.
Wow. Thats so rude
❤❤❤❤❤
Cheese.. 😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
i’m kind of shocked, with them being so expensive, that you wouldn’t be able to transmit data in real time. And that way when it falls off, you don’t have to worry about retrieving it. Listen I don’t design these things. I don’t pretend to know how they work, but I would think in this day and age that should certainly be possible. anyway awesome video. I’ve really enjoyed it. Thank you.
Id be interested in knowing how many shark attacks have been reported in areas where those receivers are vs areas where they don't have those receivers, considering its been proven that the sharks get agitated by the electrical waves caused by the combo of diving gear & the metal of the diving cages...🤔 wouldn't u think that those frequency waves wouldn't be too good on the animals in the ocean...?
Awesome find.
Is it possible for modern human beings to coexist with nature in this way? When profitability drives people more than understanding?
Ae maimau kou fagua Havaiki le ave uma e amelika 🥴☹
Horrible english, lab worker fidlles endleslly with a small brush and being over paid, fragments of underwater footage, overall stinky POS documentary.
Mahalo nui , for everything you guys do !
Thank You for this beautiful documentary. Gladly subscribed. Perhaps might be interesting to You: recently a Neolithic site was discovered near island Korčula, at the depth of eight meters. Also the works have been resumed at Roman villa from 4th-5th century AD, near Polače, island Mljet, at the depth of ca. 1-1,5 meter. Sincere regards and all the best🌞
Mahalo nui from an old Maui Aunty🌺🌊❤️
Are there any queen conchs there? They live here in Boynton, they get massive
Is that the real guy that constantly says "now we must drain-nnnn the oceans" from draining the oceans?
😂
Wow it's incredible
Really interesting. And no commercials, love it!
Were any of the projects in this video affected by the divesting of the State 404 Program in February 2024?
floridadep.gov/water/submerged-lands-environmental-resources-coordination/content/state-404-program I cannot believe this. The US Gov divested the restoration of America's Everglades in Feb. The Florida Everglades serve as a vital part of our ecosystem. Even if you don't care for the environment, the mangroves serve as a crucial natural storm barrier for communities during hurricane season. Florida submitted an appeal. I contacted the State 404 Program people to see what we can do to help restore the program. Let me know if you'd like to help. Watch the video and you'll see why the Everglades are so important. The Sea Grasses alone clear tons of the pollution from cars.
Very informative. Great find and approach to preservation and documentation. You only have one chance per find to get it proper and non destructive for max information unvarnished.
Hemoso
I can’t not believe after years and years and thousands of hours on RUclips (RUclips is my main source of TV entertainment) that I have now stumbled onto this fantastic channel, especially since most of what I watch is history and animal documentaries. That being said I’m damn glad I’ve found it now. Better late than never
This was a great documentary good info and amazing camera work. I hope to see more like this from this channel. I also hope they can get the funds to lift the ship before it’s lost to elements and storms.
Excellent cinematography, and a clear, concise introduction to the process. I will look for future adventures.
Bravo KIM and your team!!
Maravilloso!!!! ❤ Espectacular!!!! ❤
Good work has been done... How I would have liked to participate...Congratulations. Maybe there will be another opportunity in the future.

SPEEEEEN!
Is there an update to this video? I'd really love to learn more about what the tagging revealed and what techniques are being used now.
Awesome!
How can you eradicate them if you catch them and just let them go? Doesn't make too much sense, does it?
Stingray City - das neue Bahamas
It’s illegal to take them out of the ocean so don’t.. they are all endangered
Been a long time since I violently ejected the contents of my stomach spontaneously upon seeing garbage art. Undeserving No No no no no no no
Great informative vid! Thanks!
I love molluscs ❤❤❤❤ 🐌
Dont they all have barbs?
Did you know cats have claws.... Did you know bats have wings.... Did you know elephants have big ears.... Common knowledge....
The crocodile hunter would disagree that no one is fast enough to swim with one and get hurt.... rip
Was gonna say the same thing he died instantly hit him right in the heart
Not the same species! Gg
Why would you catch and/or cook these friendly fish? They’re adorable that way and diving tourism would’ve made more profit
Aah a PBS documentary specifically about groupers!? I love this and the channel!
Continue to ignore that it's a brain parasite, what, for funding?
❤ sea🐢!😁
To me the greed of fishing Trawlers and the destinations of ships at high speeds and not altering coarse in critical areas will devastate this marine life. I don't see change.
Such and awesome shipwreck. These guys are legends!
we can all agree that Craig sechler is the best narrator of all time
Home sweet home
